After a permission record has been created you can select the Edit… button to enter details about the permission license, generate an invoice for the permission and record payment of the permission fee.
From the Data & functions > Permissions view or the Data & functions > Titles > Title record > Permissions tab select the permission and open it.
- From the Data & functions > Permissions view this is done be clicking the selected permission record twice with your mouse or selecting the edit icon; the red pencil, in the toolbar above the record list.
- From the Title record > Permissions tab this is done by selecting the Edit… button on the right side of the screen.
The Permission record appears.
In this section record whether the permission is for a single use, a perpetual license or a fixed term. You an also record whether an existing permission has been terminated.
In this section record how the licensee will use the purchase content.
Fee & Payment tab
The Fee & payment tab displays the fee charged for this permission. You can also create an invoice for the permission and record the payment from this tab. More information about this tab is provided in the next lesson.
